The Anonian

Goals matter. They keep us motivated and give us something to work towards.

All goals should be measurable, realistic, and time based. You should be able to reach each goal set, monitor the progress you are making along the way, and get it done within a certain amount of time.

Each project also needs “switch-up points”. These are often neglected, but just as important as goals. There need to be set points that demonstrate that your current approach is not going to work. Switch-up points should be based off of whether or not your are meeting the goals set. One of those switch-up points always needs to be the failure point, the indicator to switch to a new project.

Goals and switch-up points prevent investing too much time and money in one project.
