There are times when you cannot meet your goals. Maybe you do not write as much as you wanted to, maybe you overslept, maybe you cheated on your diet.

It is so easy to feel low at these points. In some ways, it makes sense to punish yourself for failing. I even used to be that way.

But recently, a wise man told me how to handle such situations:

Blow it off. Stay positive. Subconscious works by flooding you with guilt, fear, doubt. It enjoys feeling miserable. Don’t give it that reward so to break the cycle.
