These days, everyone has a blog. Heck, these days everyone’s dog has a blog. I had to do something to make mine stand out.

To do that, I decided to up my game by giving it a fresh, modern look. I had a specific look in mind, and stopped at nothing to get it. I spent some time digging through WordPress’s available themes, but none reached the levels of elegance and simplicity I was aiming for. You know what they say “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.”

I did it myself.

A few hours of my time are gone forever, but I did it: I figured out how to design my own custom WordPress theme. Also new are the Subscribe, About, and Contact pages. Please feel free to check them out. Now gone is the ability for readers to comment. My apologies, but I did not feel like implementing that into my theme.
