According to an abundant amount of medical studies, people get less sleep than they need.  Sleep seems to be one of those underrated necessities that everyone needs, but no one gets.

The most common cause of this negligence is the desire to work more. People willingly exchange sleep for more time to accomplish tasks. Then, they wonder why the work produced is low quality.

Lack of sleep can be detrimental to one’s well-being and productivity levels. Studies have also proved it be harmful to one’s health. Although losing sleep may seem a good idea in the short run, it takes its toll over time.
